Dripp Coffee Bar’s flagship at South Coast Plaza brings together craft, transparency, and a refined retail experience. Our lighting approach was centered on elevating the ritual of coffee-making while reinforcing the brand’s modern, artisanal identity.

Light draws focus to the heart of the space. The U-shaped coffee bar, wrapped in hand-brushed copper, is layered with warm task and accent lighting to highlight the precision and care behind each interaction. Overhead, sculptural fixtures evoke the softness of natural daylight, creating a sense of openness within the compact footprint.

Throughout the café, lighting shifts to define moments of pause and connection. Seating and lounge areas are softly illuminated to encourage comfort, while display zones are carefully accented to enhance visual interest and material richness. Each layer works together to guide movement and shape the overall experience.

The result is a cohesive environment where lighting balances performance and atmosphere, supporting both the energy of a working café and the warmth of a welcoming, elevated space.
