e.l.f. Cosmetics, Suites 103 & 201
Los Angeles, CA
DESCRIPTION
Lighting That Reflects Creativity and Brand Identity
e.l.f. Cosmetics’ Los Angeles headquarters and creative studio were designed to support collaboration, content creation, and an evolving workplace culture. Our lighting approach focused on creating a flexible environment that balances functionality with atmosphere, helping each space feel both energetic and refined.
The 23,000 SF tenant improvement includes open work areas, meeting and huddle rooms, media and studio spaces, hospitality zones, and a dramatic grand stair. Each environment was carefully tuned to support different modes of work while maintaining a cohesive visual experience throughout the office.
Layered lighting strategies enhance material textures, reinforce architectural moments, and create visual continuity between new and existing systems. Decorative and architectural lighting elements work together to reflect the bold, modern identity of the e.l.f. brand while supporting comfort, focus, and creativity throughout the day.
Working closely with the architect, interiors team, and electrical engineer, we developed integrated lighting and controls solutions that aligned with energy goals, supported code compliance, and allowed the space to adapt seamlessly to a variety of uses.
From collaborative work zones to media-driven creative spaces, lighting helps shape an experience that feels vibrant, welcoming, and deeply connected to the brand.
