Oracle, Buildings 9 & 10

Santa Clara, CA

Description

Intelligent Light for an Evolving Workplace

Oracle’s Santa Clara Campus expansion redefines the traditional office environment as open, connected, and technology-driven. Our lighting design supports this shift, creating a responsive system that enhances both user experience and building performance.

In SC-10, light reinforces openness and flexibility. Ambient and accent layers work together to highlight architectural volume, material warmth, and visual continuity across open work areas. With the majority of spaces connected to daylight, lighting is carefully tuned to complement natural conditions while supporting focus and comfort throughout the day.

An advanced, fixture-level control system allows lighting to respond dynamically to occupancy, daylight, and energy demands. The result is an environment that feels intuitive and balanced, adapting in real time to how spaces are used.

In SC-09, a high-bay testing facility, lighting shifts to meet technical precision. Targeted illumination strategies support specialized equipment and lab functions, while maintaining consistency with the broader campus approach.

Together, these spaces create a unified lighting experience that bridges innovation and usability, supporting Oracle’s vision for a smarter, more adaptable workplace.
