Pepperdine University School of Nursing
Calabasas, CA
DESCRIPTION
Lighting Designed for Learning, Wellness, and Care
Pepperdine University’s new School of Nursing transforms its Calabasas campus into a modern environment built for healthcare education, collaboration, and student well-being. Our lighting design focused on creating flexible, calming spaces that support both technical instruction and everyday comfort.
The 33,000 SF renovation includes advanced simulation labs, briefing and control rooms, faculty offices, and collaborative student spaces. Tunable white lighting within simulation environments allows lighting conditions to adapt to different training scenarios, while layered ambient and task lighting enhance focus, clarity, and visual comfort throughout the campus.
Working closely with the design team and university stakeholders, we integrated energy-efficient lighting and controls that support performance, flexibility, and a cohesive user experience across the entire facility.
